ERIN GLAZIER
Commercial Realtor
To see Erin Glazier’s social accounts you would ask yourself who could possibly have that many bikes and ride that many road and trails in the span of weeks. The answer: Glazier.
Glazier, 41, admits to four bikes – triathlon, road, gravel and “cruiser” – but jokes “I wouldn’t say it’s gotten out of hand?”
A longtime runner, in 2012 she was asked to join the Tour de Rock, and was hooked. Then triathlete Jasper Blake convinced her to try swimming, not realizing how hard she would have to try: “I don’t think he expected I would almost drown that first day in Thetis Lake.”
Glazier, who was born and raised in Victoria, lived in Toronto, Calgary, Medicine Hat and Vancouver before she returned home “for good” in 2011.
One of Glazier’s childhood jobs was collecting eggs on a farm – long before she began collecting scoops in TV and radio news as a journalist, a profession she held for a decade.
Glazier eventually transitioned to work as a commercial realtor, in 2017 joining NAI Commercial Real Estate, where she remains today.
Glazier is a proud auntie to three nieces and two nephews, completing a large tight-knit family in Victoria.
Glazier is riding for Eamonn Miller, 11, who was diagnosed with childhood leukemia and who also has his own fundraiser for the Island Kids Cancer Association.
